Autism and sensitive people: who’s “sensitive”?

Dear Friend,
If I were a child today, I believe I might have developed autism. Why? As many of my readers know, I became an expert in healthy, nontoxic living because I am sensitive to toxic chemicals, and new research is raising serious concerns about a link between autism and some sensitive individuals’ inability to get harmful chemicals, like mercury, out of their bodies.
I am very concerned about this research because my work is about helping people live healthfully, and one of every six pregnancies is exposed to levels of mercury that are considered unsafe by the EPA. How many fetuses are at risk of poisoning? We don’t know exactly who might have weakened defenses against the harmful effects of mercury, but we can do something to protect ourselves and our children: get tested for mercury exposure. Get tested here:

We’re working with Greenpeace so you can take send in a small sample of your hair and receive confidential information about your own mercury exposure and how to reduce your mercury levels. And, as part of the largest national study of mercury exposure, your participation will help fight mercury pollution nationwide. Publication of the results will be a wakeup call to the public and help to hold governments accountable. Visit this link:

Please join me (Annie), and sign up today to have your hair tested to participate. This project is one way that I think we can help to ensure fewer and fewer autistic and developmentally disabled children in the years to come:

PS. We hope to collect 10,000 hair samples. Currently, we have around 8,000. Please help us meet our goal.
